Description

No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Balls are a convenient and nutritious snack that combines peanut butter and chocolate for a delicious treat without the need for an oven. They're easy to make and perfect for busy lifestyles.

Ingredients

2 cups Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
1/2 cup Chocolate Protein Powder
1/3 cup Honey or Maple Syrup
1/2 cup Mini Dark Chocolate Chips
2 tablespoons Chia Seeds or Flax Meal
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Pinch of Sea Salt

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, chocolate protein powder, chia seeds, and sea salt. Stir these together until the protein powder evenly coats the oats
  2. Pour in the creamy peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Use a sturdy spatula to fold everything together until the mixture is thick
  3. Fold in the mini chocolate chips
  4. If the dough feels too crumbly, add a tablespoon of water. If it feels too sticky, add another tablespoon of oats
  5. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes
  6. Use a small cookie scoop or a tablespoon to portion out the dough and roll into balls about one inch in diameter
  7. Place the finished balls on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for another 15 minutes to firm them up completely

Notes

For a vegan version, use maple syrup instead of honey and dairy-free chocolate chips.

You can substitute peanut butter with almond butter or sunflower seed butter if necessary.
